Scott Resnick is a Partition Attorney at Talkov Law where her practice focuses exclusively on Ending Co-Ownership Disputes relating to real estate in California. Scott graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He then obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University while simultaneously receiving his Master of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Prior to joining Talkov Law, Scott was a mutual fund attorney for one of the largest mutual fund administrators in the U.S. There, he led a team that coordinated regulatory filings for new and existing mutual fund and ETFs, and ensured compliance with federal securities laws by communicating with SEC staff and legal counsel.
Scott also has experience in regulatory compliance and wealth management, having worked at global fixed income asset manager and private wealth management firm. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Taft Law School in Santa Ana.
Scott uses his extensive knowledge in securities compliance and finance to develop creative solutions for clients and assist them in reaching excellent results in their real estate co-ownership disputes.
