Elaine Ouyang

Elaine Ouyang is a Partition Attorney at Talkov Law, assisting clients throughout California in resolving co-ownership disputes through partition actions. She brings a detail-oriented, organized, and client-focused approach to complex property matters.

Before joining Talkov Law, Elaine worked as a Legal Analyst/Paralegal at StepStone Group, supporting private equity and transactional legal work. Her experience included contract drafting, reviewing proposed transactions, amendments to limited partnership agreements, analyzing non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, and managing fund-related documentation. She also coordinated communications across internal teams and supported legal diligence efforts.

Elaine earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law through its part-time evening program while working full-time. During law school, she received multiple honors and scholarships recognizing her academic performance.

Outside of her legal work, Elaine has held leadership and mentorship roles, including serving as President of the Gabrielino Chess Club and participating in Kappa Zeta Phi Sorority.
